Singing Together Apart

During lockdown, many staff and students came together by submitting recordings of themselves singing and playing a piece called Singing Together Apart, written by Boff Whalley.

Boff now runs a choir he founded called Commoners Choir for which he wrote this piece, but for the older people around, they may remember him as the lead guitarist for Chumbawamba.  He kindly agreed to us using his song.

I am delighted with the result which I mixed down at home using Cubase Elements, the same programme that many GCSE students use for their composition coursework.
